The Nordens Horse Ring is handmade in Silver & Gold with sapphires. This unique piece is inspired in gold pieces found in excavations in north of Sweden and Norway. The original piece was the top decoration of a sword scabbard. The richly decorated ornament displays two horse heads facing each other. The ears, eye, eyebrows, and cheeks become apparent if looked at closely. Just as with the scabbard found, the horses were displayed in the ring by applying small granules and collocating twisted wires at the edges.
