Each band is decorated with traditional engraved motifs, while two carefully set sapphires add colour and contrast to the composition. The design draws inspiration from traditional jewellery of the Miao, the Mountain Tribes of the Golden Triangle, particularly from ceremonial silver pieces worn during important celebrations. Among them, large and highly elaborate pendants, sometimes weighing over 10 kg. Those worn as symbols of identity, protection and family wealth during rituals and festive occasions.
